Next Spaghetti Dinner Planning Meeting - September 25th

Dear Parents,

Please join Mylinda Drury and Jeanie Canavan on Thursday September 25th at 6:30pm for our Annual Spaghetti Dinner to be held on October 11, 2014 from 4:30pm to 7:00pm.  Your HELP and SUPPORT is vital to the success of Troop 69's only fundraiser for the troop.  We need every adult to help support this very import event.

Annual Registration Fee Now due September 11th instead December

Dear Parents,


I know if feels like you have just paid your Troop 69 annual unit dues.  South Florida Council has changed annual unit registration due date normally due in December and will now be due in September.   Please be prepared to pay for son’s annual registration, scout insurance and boy life magazine subscription for the total cost of $37.00.  Payment is due to Ms. Kim Kivi by September 11th, 2014.  You may email her directly if you would like the fee taken out of your escrow account. Ms. Kivi email is  All scouts who pay on time will receive a free ticket to a Marlins Baseball game.  Those who do not re-charter on time unfortunately will have fill out a new scouting application.   Please help us complete the re-charter process on time and make payment by September 11th.

Merit Badge Counselor Application

Attached within the announcement is the Merit Badge Counselor. Also included is a list of all the merit badges offered through the BSA program. The commitment is for a minimum of one year and needs to be renewed on an annual basis. A Merit Badge Counselor must first be registered with BSA trough a troop and take the online Youth Protection Training and complete the application to become a Counselor. If you are interested please email Hank Bowles our Merit Badge Counselor Coordinator. Hanks email is Hank will keep the form updated for you on an annual basis unless you tell him you longer wish to be a counselor.
